About —
Madeleine Parsons is a writer and designer based in Brooklyn. She is the creative director at design gallery Colony and an adjunct professor at Parsons School of Design. She holds an MFA in creative writing from Hunter College.
At Hunter she was awarded a Sainsbury Research Fellowship with author Ed Park. Her writing has been published in Wrong House, Upstate Woman and Design Milk and she has forthcoming fiction in 3:AM Magazine. Her design work has been featured in NY Mag, Elle Decor, Wallpaper*, SightUnseen and Surface. She is working on a personal essay collection which examines how the built environment shapes and reflects our interior lives.
